I updated the WRT3200ACM to the latest firmware. I'm trying to connect with a Samsung S10e. Nothing works except no encryption. Any password I try to set to any wifi rejects the phone. The phone works fine on all other routers, tried several, no problem. I also have the same problem with a WRT160NL. I guess the ddwrt has problem with Linksys.

What build number do you mean by "latest" firmware?
The router database does not give the latest or even a reasonable option. See the new-build threads in this forum to identify the actual latest. Current builds are working well with your router model. _________________ 2x Netgear XR500 and 3x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 53544: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
The Linksys firmware works fine with WPA2 (I can change them). There is a problem with DDWRT with all the WPA modes (WPA, WPA2 and WPA3). All the modes in the Basic Wireless Settings work when the WPA is off. The internet works when there is no encryption and passwords. You turn on any WPA and it won't work in any wireless mode. I tried them all (B,G,N,A,AC). You turn on the WPA and problem. All the wireless settings set to default it works until you turn on WPA. I switch back to factory and it works fine. And one more thing, I never get to see the AC wireless mode, only 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The third wireless interface (802.11ac) has never shown, although I have set SSIDs as default-24, default-50 and default-AC. I got an Samsung S10e, it has AC wifi.
1.) the WRT3200 has only two decent radios (wlan0 + wlan1).
the third radio (MWLSD8887) has only 1! internal antenna and is intended for radar detection - it is not designed to be used as a full accesspoint and should be disabled.
2.) you have to configure your WLAN correctly, the default settings are not a decent configuration in any case.
I have tried all options, all modes, all channels, all channel widths, they all work only if the WPA is off. Whatever the wireless settings are. The moment I turn on the encryption, either it won't connect or if it manages to somehow connect, there is few seconds internet, then the exclamation appears that says there is no internet.
Whatever setting I set on the factory firmware, the wifi is working. The DDWRT has a problem with the encryption. The same thing goes with my other Linksys WRT160NL, same problems.

Perhaps you are using the wrong settings but if you do not provide screenshots we cannot tell
To give you a head start :
Quote:
Next, setup Wireless Settings & Security. Wireless Tab – Wireless Security Sub-Tab. From the ‘Security Mode’ drop-down menu select WPA2 Personal and in ‘WPA Algorithms’ menu choose AES.
In ‘Shared Key’ enter your choice for a WiFi Password.
Well then it is good then you can solve your problems yourself.
Without complete information (configuration settings and screenshots) we do not provide support.
