Hya,

i have a MR3020 with a LTE dongle and want the have my linksys with dd-wrt using it by tether, so i can have the wired and wifi clients on it.

Which is the best way? repeater mode or client mode?

Use the ethernet port of the MR3020 in LAN mode / MR3020 in bridge mode. It may or may not work. Only other option is if the Linksys is dual band, then you would likely use client bridge in DD-WRT.
