I already have SFE enabled but with the latest firmware (Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r48432 std (03/01/22)) I cannot get the full 1gbps internet speed. When I connect my laptop to the modem directly, I would get 980mbps. I don't know when this started happening. With SFE enabled, I used to get 920mbps. I now max out at 350mbps. Help is appreciated. Thanks.

do we know witch router do you have...?
it wont get to full Gig whichever router you have, especially broadcom...the max is close to Gig in the best case scenarios...also consider clients capability's..
you didn't mention any router settings, clients tested, test used or details...the level of help is very limited in this case... _________________ Atheros

Netgear R7000 as the title states. I tried on my Macbook and PC. Both were throttled at 350mbps unless I bypass the router and connect them up to my modem directly.
no, for test purpose i made PPPoE autentication on ONT and try dynamic or static ip for test's.
I have already tested a static IP service from my ISP, but it results in the same performance in the end for my use.
I would like to test the CTF + FA because my ISP is offering me a plan with more bandwidth (600mb/s full) but I don't know if the R7000 can handle it and I can't afford a new router at the moment.

That wiki needs to be edited. First point of error glaring in my face is that erase nvram no longer exists in DD-WRT firmware. I refrain from further comment. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

You should enable on Setup page:
Shortcut Forwarding Engine: CTF
Flow Acceleration: CTF & FA
The router reboots but to be sure reboot again after that
I can confirm I am getting close to a gig on an R7000 (~920mbps) using the settings @egc recommends.
Thanks for these settings and the confirmation!
I just got Xfinity's 600/20 package, and using these settings I get about 715/24 at speedtest.net on my R7000 using firmware version v3.0-r48567 std (03/23/22).
However, some benchmark sites appear to use IPv6, which benchmarks a lot lower. For example, I get around 315/24 at speedtest.xfinity.com. Clicking "Show More" confirms that IPv6 is being used. It appears that Google's speed test is also defaulting to IPv6. I get around 315/24 when I first perform a Google speed test, and around 715/24 after I disable IPv6.
How are your benchmarks using IPv6? Based on some searching, it appears that the Shortcut Forwarding Engine is only supported for IPv4. Is there any way to speed up my IPv6 benchmarks?
