Router/Version: Asus RT-AC68U E1 Misidentified as C1

Issues/Errors: Unable to Connect to WAN properly
Previous FW DD-WRT v3.0-r47256 works WAN wise fully but r47282 for some reason indicates its connected to internet, yet internet is not accessible from anywhere, no pings respond to WAN
Tried power cycling modem/router, resets nothing made Internet fully accessible.
Reverted to v3.0-r47256 and WAN is back again immediately.
Exact steps and configuration to reproduce per the OP, please. Just saying it's broken and then throwing a flag on access restrictions doesn't give us much to go on. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Do you have limit telnet selected in the firewall tab?
Yes. I disabled it but Telnet was enabled in the Services tab, also, and I disabled it and then the port got closed before I disabled the "limit telnet". Also, I discovered that ftp was open on the WAN side and it was due to the "limit ftp access" setting. Hopefully, I'll remember this is it happens again. Thanks for pointing me to those settings.
