• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.
Operational with same VHT80 Channel list issue on 5ghz after upgrade. I didnt fully verify but at a glance looks like list is missing all non-dfs channels until you manually change it to a dfs one, then change it back and all appear.
I'm not seeing any of the spam in the log that 52004 had so that may be fixed.
r7800
WDS STA 5GHz - AP 2.4 GHz, VAP 5Ghz AP. Same VAP issue on WDS STA as 52004, otheriwse operational.
EDITED 16Mar:
5GHz signal strength seems to be lower than normal. No scientific measurement, only based on the fact that although the phone is 1m away from the router,
the phone refuses to auto switches to 5GHz network
WiFi Analyzer shows 5GHz has lower signal strength than 2.4GHz
Tested it briefly, the build does not seem to solve any of the reported problems.
I still have the problem with the channels and reduced signal strength after a reboot.
@ho1Aetoo, Im not sure this is really a signal strenghth issue. My thoughts are, you are being shifted to a dfs channel that has a different power cap by regulation. When i use DFS channels its not uncommon for my power to drop to 23db even though i have it set to 30.
When the problem happens can you check what channels were auto selected? I suspect its all the channel going to auto / missing nondfs issue..
as I said, I noticed this more or less by accident.
I was yesterday in the attic and had suddenly no more WLAN connection.
Normally I also have reception upstairs.

R7800
upgraded from 52004 to Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r52020M std (03/14/23)
I can confirm the 5 GHz WiFi signal level reports by a few others in this thread. In the wireless settings page the 5 GHz power level had been at 30 dBm before this latest upgrade and indeed the number hadn't changed, but judging by WiFi signal level indicators in locally available devices, the signal strength rose a lot after pressing Apply Settings on the router and waiting for it to take effect.
Despite the 30 dBm setting, in the Wireless status page it is reported as 26 dBm.
The channel setting is 120 + 122 (5600 MHz VHT80). Vanilla drivers.
Most importantly an application - Network Analyzer Lite, version 3.11.1 - while not a scientific instrument, showed an increase of about 18 dB, which is indeed very substantial. This is supported by similarly much higher readings from other signal level indicators.
Beforehand I had been wondering about the low signal level indicated by a Pinell Internet radio relative to its usual readings, and a low reading even in the vicinity of the router on a new Pinell radio, which I collected today for testing.
