So I have 3 laptops and when on 5ghz they can't see my HTPC that's connected to ethernet or my 2.4ghz device. And my htpc can see my 5ghz devices but won't connect.
What setting have I somehow got wrong?

So, on your set up those 2 WiFi interfaces are on their own subnets (unbridged) or as they ware in general, assigned to br0 ?
Is there any AP or NET isolation ??
What is your goal ...to isolate those or to be able to see devices in between ?

and last this build you use is very old DD-WRT v3.0-r30534 std (09/01/16) and full of security holes and lacks of updates...update to the last build...currently is 51154 (may be reset and manually rebuild settings)...may be a new one in a bit later ... Laughing

both are bridged and both AP Isolation disabled
wireless is assigned to lan

my current bridge table is
br0 no vlan1 eth1 eth0

after looking it looks like I need to add eth2 as thats the 5ghz? but I don't have an eth2

I know its old I did have a slightly newer one but my vpn server would drop out so I went back to this one and it was stable so didn't touch it again.

Especially about bridges some bugs have been resolved in recent builds.

What router do you have, maybe I missed that.

Unless you have a very old router running a very old kernel, I would highly recommend to upgrade to a recent build e.g. 51154, *after* upgrade reset to defaults and put settings in manually never restore from a backup.

Chances are your problems are solved running a recent build.

It is possible you need new keys if your keys have a length less then 2048
