I have a Netgear r6400 v1 router that I set up as a repeater bridge. But, when I connect to it I don’t get internet connection(says "no internet, secured"). I know I set up everything correctly, but I downloaded the firmware from the router database. I read that the router database is sometimes outdated, but I couldn’t find anything newer on my router’s forum page. I should additionally mention that I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps listed on these forums, and that I’m trying to set up the repeater bridge with a 5 GHz network (but the router is dual band). However, when I connect via LAN I get internet connection. I don't know what the problem is. I'm hoping someone could offer me some insight: through newer firmware or more troubleshooting steps.
Firmware is in the netgear-r6400 directory, and has been supported in DD-WRT since build 29968. See Where do I download firmware?
Use the .chk file to flash from the OEM firmware GUI, then reset afterward: see below.
Use the webupgrade file to upgrade to a newer version of dd-wrt.

• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Try station or repeater mode but YMMV.
