Hi, can anyone recomend a cheap router that would support 40-50 Mbps tunnel using WireGuard?

I was able to reach around 50 Mbps using TP-LINK WDR-3600 with OpenWRT, but now it is bricked.

My goal is to connect 02 sites using WireGuard on DDWRT Router (So I would buy 02 routers)

Good routers in Brazil are really expensive now, so if possible I would like to go cheap enough for the task.

Thanks Very Happy

cheep is not always good...for openvpn and wireguard you'd need router that has a decent size flash ram...
otherwise those features will not be present...
look for Netgear R7000 or R7800 look for second hand on Ebay / Amazon...

R6400v2 has identical CPU as R7000 and is a bit cheaper.

It should give you 60-80 Mb/s with wireguard

Of course R7800 is way better (and would be my choice, but it is more expensive)

I really appreciate both answers, but these prices in Brazil still seems to be a little over what I was expecting.

Any other suggestions will be very appreciated.

Thanks
