R7800 features

I want to change router to R7800.

Can anyone confirm that the following functions work at DD-WRT?

1. Station Bridge(Routed) (maybe Client Bridge) + Virtual AP at the same frequency.
2. WiFi Roaming (802.11r, 802.11v, 802.11k).
3. Band Steering.

Can anyone confirm that the following functions work at DD-WRT?

1. Station Bridge(Routed) yes, (maybe Client Bridge) + Virtual AP yes : caveat last stable for this setup 51589 VHT80/40 only (no 160modes work right as sta with vap) at the same frequency.
2. WiFi Roaming (802.11r, 802.11v, 802.11k). yes
3. Band Steering. not sure if chipset supports but DD recently added

Qualcomm IPQ8065 supports band steering.

This could be a problem with 5Ghz according to this:

What I need?

Station Bridge(Routed) 5GHz + AP 2.4GHz(maybe VAP 5GHz) + Band Steering + Roaming with main router
or
Station Bridge(Routed) 2.4GHz + AP 5GHz (maybe VAP 2.4GHz) + Band Steering + Roaming with main router.
Is this may works?


5GHz 80MHz enough for me.

Everything is present 802.11krv and DAWN and USTEER

But it is recently added so still a WIP, one day it will work, could be today, tomorrow or ...
