Shortcut Forwarding Engine for broadcom CPU? I used CTF

I read in dd wrt wiki, CTF is better only if the CPU is northstar bridge, a broadcom CPU family. Turns out my DSL-AC68U is that one. So I changed to CTF from SFE. I think this is some hardware acceleration thing. Did I do right?
