Hello,
I use my router as client mode and VAP.
Router: Tp-LINK TL-WR841N v9
how can I assign wan port to act as switch port (yellow ports) ? Because I need to have five ports and want to use BLUE(WAN) port as LAN port (yellow).
This was able to do in older builds from 2019 year.
Assign wan port to switch is missing in lastest builds but I need to get it, how?
If you set the "WAN Connection Type" in the "basic setup" tab to disabled then eth1 should be bridged with br0.
Thanks for your response.
So I need to use older build if I need WAN port to act as LAN in my configuration ?
Or use newest builds without possibility to use WAN port as LAN ?
Hello again,
I was able to install r52720 on my Tl-wr841n v9 and after set up client mode the router automatically assign wan port to switch so I was able to use WAN port as LAN port to connect device which is great.
Thanks for all help and support!
