This is dd-wrt setup as an access point. Yes I searched . It's possible I didn't know what I was searching for lol.
Router: Asus RT-AC68U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r44715 std (11/03/20)
I upgraded my phone to Android 12 and lost the ability to use PPTP. I set up OpenVPN on my router and can connect fine but I can't get to my network or the internet. I know this is because I'm using a lan port instead of the wan port so, obviously the command to update the iptables to use the wan doesn't work. Is there a way to route the VPN through the lan port? Specifically port 1. Thanks for any help.
Edit:
For anyone else that happens upon this. I've tried the following with no luck.
Code:
iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o br0 -s $(nvram get openvpn_net)/$(nvram get openvpn_tunmask) -j MASQUERADE

Start with telling us your router model and build number.
See the forum guidelines with helpful pointers about how to research your router, where and what firmware to download, where and how to post and many other helpful tips:

Are you referring to setting up an OpenVPN server on the WAP?
If so the documentation has a paragraph about that.
The new firmware and enabling " Allow Clients full LAN access" has allowed me to connect to some lan devices but not my nas for some reason. Also no internet through VPN. One step closer so I'll keep researching. Thanks for your help.
Found that if I connect through wifi (from somewhere else obviously) internet works and shows I'm connected through my home internet on whatsmyip. If I connect over cell data there's no internet.
