SSH update, no issues, clean reboot. All features working. DNS services seem a little faster.
Can you explain your shell commands to update via ssh? Because I get an error every time I tried... thanks
Example for R7800
Code:
wget ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/03-25-2020-r42803/netgear-r7800/dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
write dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin linux
reboot
Alternatively
Code:
wget ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/03-25-2020-r42803/netgear-r7800/dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
write dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin linux && reboot
I personally like to do #1 since I can error check and prevent rebooting into a bootloop. Not that it has happened so far.
Just replace the link and the bin file to your devices needs. _________________ Hi

This thread is for feedback on beta build r42803...
What do you think I'm doing then? The issue is right in the first post and all over the last SVN pages (I did provide all logs there), I'm just confirming it's still not fixed in this build. If you're unable to put 2+2 together to figure out what it is about and can't say anything productive, just don't say anything. Who are you anyway to tell me what to write or not on a public forum.

Ok, on what device? Follow the format at the bottom of the OP and maybe we will know what device you have? Hello? Not that difficult.

This build has a "feel" of being faster. DNS responses are quicker and it seems that a cache of some kind is in place. Spending the past two weeks online for 10 hours a day or more gives me the perspective of the speed up since the last version. _________________ Netgear R9000

Great, thanks a lot, I'll try next build. Anyway this build r42803 works fine on my R7800
issue:
can't open libre office document from samba share (ext3) with write access. it seem that the creation of lock file like .~lock.Verbrauch.ods# doesn't work.
