Changelogs:
SVN* changelog since last build: 41321
Summary: (deprecated after 29739)
*Github mirror: https://github.com/mirror/dd-wrt/

Notes:
1. SFE accelerated NAT is in 33006+ builds but only in kernel 3.2 and newer
2. 'KRACK' vulnerability fixes were completed in r33678 for Broadcom, including k26 (33655) & k24 (33656); use 33772 or later.
3. Bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work in some configurations in certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead as WDS doesn't work with Broadcom ARM either (see Issues below).
4. PBR/UDP with SFE working again since r40513 (see 6729)
5. CAKE scheduler changes "completed" with r41057 (see 5796) & FQ_CODEL_FAST with r41027 (reset first!)
6. Reset button was broken in 40571; fixed in build 40750.

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
1. Trendnet 81*DRU models are missing factory-to-flash
2. DNScrypt is mostly only using v2 protocols now, but requires Golang that DD can't use: 6246
3. WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS)
4. K2.6 builds are broken since 38253(?) (GUI issues): 6538
5. VAPs not working at boot; workaround startup command:
sleep 10;stopservice nas;stopservice wlconf;startservice wlconf;startservice nas
This appears fixed (only for unbridged VAPs?) with r40564:40566...

Important: if reporting any issues, provide applicable info (GUI syslog, `dmesg`, `cat /var/log/messages`, etc.)
Or put into SVN ticket. For firewall issues, also provide "iptables" info (`iptables -L`, `iptables -t nat -L`, & the /tmp/.ipt file).

Template to copy (after "Code:") for posting issues, be sure to include the mode in use (gateway, AP, CB, etc.):
Code:

[b]File: [/b]
[b]Kernel: [/b]

The trial issue with the previous build 41321 has disappeared. This flash required no change in procedure and did not brick the router. Will test through the week or until next build.

Router/Version: Linksys E3200
Mode: Gateway / AP
Status: Erased Nvram after updating and so far everything seems fine. It's been up and running for a few hours but it doesn't get very much use.

One thing I have noticed is that the router says it's using a BCM5357 CPU but every other site that has info on this router says it's using a BCM47186B0 including the DDWrt wiki. This doesn't seem like an issue I just thought I'd point it out.

My last reset since my last brick was here: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1177489#1177489 <-- and I only did it to confirm the difference in numbers of used/free nvram between CLI/Serial and webUI, which the numbers ARE different. Outside of that, I haven't reset during upgrade process since my last brick, even during all of the QoS fixes where there were 'undefined' settings. I've pretty much determined that the only times it is necessary, and only applicable by device and who compiled the build is at initial flash and/or after a serial or tftp recovery. Outside of that, it's pointless unless something corrupted the nvram, in which case, it likely won't boot completely. The web page issue with settings can likely be solved by clearing cache, and/or F5/refresh page, or the infamous "save" and/or "apply" trick. I only have very random issues with Firefox ESR. Just my thoughts.

Kernel: Linux 4.4.196 #115 SMP Tue Oct 15 07:18:30 +04 2019 armv7l
Mode: AP, 2.4+5GHz
Status: OK, but WAN lost

After an uptime of ~48h this AP lost the WAN-interface and connection (via eth) to the DSL-router for some unexplainable reason. The DSL-router was not available any more, it was not listed in 'Active Clients' (Status/LAN) on the AP (it usually is, same net). I was watching YT on a PC connected via eth to the AP, and eventually paused a video. At around that time or soon after WAN has vanished. Strange, never has happened before. I do not use QOS, SFE is off, firewall is off (except 'Filter Multicast'), it is my DHCP server.
