Router: Linksys EA2000 (converted 320N)
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r38060 mega (12/20/2018)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.111 #5530 Thu Dec 20 00:32:25 CET 2018 mips
Reset:Yes before and after with GUI reset and nvram erase
Mode: Gateway/AP
Status: Serious errors, but working

I am investigating several user reporting strange errors when using a VPN client see: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=317926
The error reported is that the shell can not execute properly.

So I uploaded this K2.6 build and made sure to reset to defaults.

Build is working i.e. I have internet access but when I telnet into my router I see the following:

Quote:
DD-WRT v3.0-r38060 mega (c) 2018 NewMedia-NET GmbH
Release: 12/20/18

E2000 login: root
Password:

BusyBox v1.29.3 (2018-12-20 00:31:51 CET) built-in shell (ash)

-sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
-sh: 3: Invalid argument
~ #

So there is something really amiss with the K2.6 builds which probably also explains the OpenVPN errors reported

K2.6 builds have been broken for a while:

https://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/6373

There should still be other tickets quoted in there, and I have an ongoing list that I'm trying to track down whether or not they have been resolved as FIXED:

@Kernel-Panic thanks for all your work.

I saw in your list that it is reported earlier Sad
It seems that this error prevents all sort of shell scripts running.

I have now uploadead K3.X build on my E2000 and can confirm that the ext4.ko module is still missing (like already reported) so no ext partitions on USB (not that I personnally need it, this is a spare router running OpenVPN server)

Currently I'm running DD-WRT v3.0-r37305 std 10/10/10 on my ASUS RT-AC68R and I am having an issue with the Router Management page & logging in. After originally flashing the v3.0-r37305 upgrade after factory resetting and reaching the fresh flash "Create a Web Management Login & Password" then setting it everything is straight. But once the router gets reset I am unable to login to the Web Management page any longer as I am assuming there is a bug within the v3.0-r37305 firmware that somehow the credentials I created no longer work and I have to factory reset with the push reset button which is positioned on the rear of the router....

Has anyone else experienced this issue with v3.0-r37305 on the Asus RT-AC68R and has this been fixed with this Alpha release?

Described here: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1146385#1146385 and in a fev more posts I treid to add some information.
I noticed this in r37305 but r38060 behaves the same.

Router/Version: Netgear R6400 v1
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r38060 std (12/20/18 )
Kernel: Linux 4.4.168 #4350 SMP Wed Dec 19 10:28:58 CET 2018 armv7l
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r37860 std (11/27/1Cool
Mode/Status: Gateway & AP
Reset: Yes / Yes
Issues/Errors: Yes / No (AP)

I have two R6400 V1 units. One is the gateway and the other is a hardwired AP. In generally both work with the new revision. The issue is with the Gateway, over time (sometimes a matter of minutes) that units WEB GUI fails to respond but it still routes traffic and WiFi is functional. A telnet into the device and can see that HTTPD is running. I can stop and start that service and the web interface will run again for a little while as you can see it slow in response as it gets close to failing to respond.

On the gateway, I don't remember seeing the web gui fail to respond while it wasn't routing to the WAN (I had setup after reset and reboot before configuring the IP address properly.)

I tried an earlier version (37961) which fails as well so it was introduced recently. It works fine on (37860).

Did you ever get this or any newer build to load on your 890? I'm at 32170 and having problems with my 890 with all my IoT devices lose their connection when I apply any settings change. Have to reboot to restore the connections.

Thx
