Previous version r55179. No reset. Mobile clients are not able to connect to WG server. Did not managed to gather logs, i.e /var/log/messages as I need to quickly revert back to r55179 to restore functionality for the WG peers.

Mode/Status: Router
Status: Everything working except NAS with samba. When copying a file to the server, the router automatically reboots. This has been the case in the last few versions.

NAS/SMB issues have been going on for longer than that. SMB transfers to attached USB drives worked fine up to 53633 but since then, it has been problematic. In my testing (using macOS 14), builds with the new kernel up to 54682 wouldn't reboot, but would not allow file transfers to attached USB drives formatted in FAT32 or exFAT but worked fine with EXT2 or EXT4 partitions. After 54682, the router just reboots. This seems to be a difficult issue to solve or just isn't a priority for the developers right now. I'm sticking to 53633 for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for confirming the same issues I'm seeing. I too am on 53633 (last build before kernel 6.1). Are the developers aware of the issue and is there a defect associated with it?

I would hope that they are aware of these issues as it has been reported here for a while and by multiple users. I don't know if they are working on it or not. Sure hope they are but each new build doesn't come with a whole lot of information and I just periodically try one and hope for the best.

Disable Shortcut Forwarding Engine. I was at around 12-13 days' uptime on 55246 alpha test build before it spontaneously rebooted. Currently on 55460. At some point, things will settle out. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
