Linksys WRT1900ACS
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r54914 std (01/14/24)
Kernel: Linux 6.1.72 #235 SMP Sun Jan 14 03:23:42 +07 2024 arm

Works stable with AdGuarDnsProxy
Stabled with WiFi connection.

Upgrade from 01-12-2024-r54905 withut reset in CLI

Load Average 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
Temperatures CPU 59.8 °C / WL0 46.7 °C / WL1 48.3 °C

I wonder Why the temperatures of WL1 is higher than WL0 after I switched-off WL1 and Switched-on WL0, and verified WL1 indeed stop working.

Router/Version: WRT1900AC V1
File/Kernel: r54914
Previous/Reset: Upgrade
Mode/Status: Still have SFE disabled and I haven't had any crashes since disabling
Issues/Errors: None

Noticed that both firmware versions (ddwrt-linksys-wrt1900ac-webflash.bin and factory-to-ddwrt.bin) are the same ~35MB filesize now. Historically, factory-to-ddwrt always used to be about half the size of the upgrade images, and then when the builds stopped working they were both the same size but the smaller ~15MB size. Now they're both the larger ~35MB. Is this going to be the case going forward, and does anyone know why they used to be such different sizes?

Router/Version: Linksys WRT3200ACM
File/Kernel: r54914 / Linux 6.1.72 #235 SMP Sun Jan 14 03:23:42 +07 2024 arm
Previous/Reset: r54682 / upgrade, factory defaults after boot, enter new settings (always)
Mode/Status: AP, basic home internet and media server / reverted to r54682 due to smb causing reboots
Issues/Errors: smb transfer causes router to reboot at completion

same as r54905:
Quote:
Change(s) (to smbd?) after 1/2/24 r54682 are causing my WRT3200ACM to reboot when transferring via SMB (from Windows 10) to flash drive attached to router. When copy progress hits 99%, it freezes and router reboots. (same transfer via FTP works properly) After reboot, when smb is again accessible, it seems the file finished transferring successfully before the reboot. r54682 and earlier have been working properly over many years.

Maybe because they aren't supported in Marvell?

Router/Version: Linksys WRT1900ACS v2
File/Kernel: Linux 6.1.72 #235 SMP Sun Jan 14 03:23:42 +07 2024 arm
Previous/Reset: upgrade, factory defaults after boot, enter new settings
Mode/Status: AP, basic home internet
Issues/Errors: No internet after every hard shutdown

I'm running this version on a Linksys WRT1900ACSV2, upgraded and reset to factory settings and it seems to work properly until a hard shutdown on the router happens. When the router is turned on again, the wifi does not work anymore. The wireless interface is on 5GHz, AP, AC / N Mixed, VHT80, TX power 15dBm and also SFE off btw.

I'm not sure when this started happening because I don't remember what was my last working version anymore and I also did a reset to factory settings so from my last working version there could have been changes in the config that I don't have around anymore.

System logs do not show any error or anything relevant. Everything else seem to work fine, I can connect to the network and use internet when wired.

I can try to bisect and find a working version but I wonder if there's something somebody know I could try/check before doing that.

Do you have the 2.4ghz AP enabled and know if that still works? I'm curious because I've experienced similar issues where after the router starts up, occasionally only the 5ghz AP wouldn't work, although it resolved for me by rebooting it (usually but not always). When this happened, some of the status values under Status>Wireless>wlan1 (my 5ghz AP) reported "Unknown". Sorry I don't have any suggestions about how to fix it.

I only have 5ghz enabled. I was thinking about testing this out, turning both things off, unplugging the router cable and then restarting it again to see what happens. Going to try it out and report back, still of someone has ideas I'd like to hear about things to try.

I can confirm that when 2.4ghz is enabled alone or with both 2.4 and 5ghz on, everything works perfectly fine.
If I turn on only 5ghz, after a shutdown and turning on the router again, I don’t have the wifi accessible anymore.

Actually what I've said is not 100% correct. 5ghz gives problems regardless if 2.4ghz is on or off.
