Router/Version: EA8500
File/Kernel: Who cares
Previous/Reset: r53562/auto reset x5
Mode/Status: Test unit
Issues/Errors: Same as always on k6.x
No surprise, but still not working on EA8500. DOH! Why do I keep trying these builds when I know they are not going to work? Can we PLEASE get a k4.9 build for this router? Version 6.x is obviously not going to work with this router without some serious work it seems. Let's bypass this transition. I don't care if we have a 6.x kernel for EA8500. What I DO care about is having an up-to-date router firmware and this is not working at all. _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562

Previous/Reset: r54682 / no
Mode/Status: AP wired and wireless / Up and running for 7:19 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch

Seconded. I'll keep using r53562 with my EA8500 until a) builds revert back to using k4.9 or b) builds with k6.1 in them see a dramatical improvement in compatibility.
