Have you tried both WDS and AP on the same firmwares ?? using the new roaming settings ???
Just curious...as there is lots of active WIP on the subject.. Im tempted to try WDS (R7800 + 1043v2)...
may give it a go soon..just too busy, as i just got back home _________________ Atheros

Tried WDS on both last build 54420. Did not fiddle with new roaming settings 802.11v, 802.11k, or MBO.
802.11r Support (FT) has been enabled on both although now there are a couple of new choices thrown in there I left a default.
wlan0 5GHz is the WDS link interface and the new roaming settings are not available on that Interface with this build.
So for now I would go back to 54248 on the STA to try out WDS.

Netgear r7500v2 Up and running for 9 hours with sfe enabled but had to disable it again because it rebooted other than that seems like a good built thanks dd-wrt team.

Router/Version: Netgear R7800 x 3
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r54475 std (12/07/23)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r54420 std (12/04/23), no reset this time
Mode/Status: Gateway (SFE disabled), Access Point (VANILLA firmware,2.4GHz, 5GHZ, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r), IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS/DNSMasq, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server, performance govenor + 2 wired access points (VANILLA firmware,2.4GHz, 5GHZ, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r), performance govenor
Issues/Errors:
Up 19 hours. USB 2.0 working properly, haven't tested 3.0. Wireguard and OpenVPN servers working as expected. Speed (tested via nPerf.com) is close to or greater than what my ISP advertizes, both wired and wireless. Have not tried SFE, but based on Harb1's report above, I'll leave it disabled.
Thanks Brainslayer. Based on the number of commits on the last couple builds, you've been busy... _________________ __________________________

Feel like i should explain more it was fine for 9hours until i download the pc moba game smite which is 37 gb big. After the download was finished 1 to 3 minutes the router rebooted itself.
