I managed to get r54079 on one of my EA8500s. It was a lengthy process using the TFTP method; flashed to both partitions. Twelve reboots and two NVRAM resets (auto resets) later it finally booted. It's been running fine now for nearly 12 hours but it's not doing anything useful. Under load it could be a completely different story. USB2 port seems to be working w/USB3 64GB Sandisk flash stick and I didn't test the USB3 port as earlier k6.1 builds broke two USB sticks already.

Just thinking... Q: now that it's up and running, did you try to reflash using normal web/cli methods?

R7800 WDS AP

Been up near 36 hours now with no random reboots described here (53843)

ksmbd does not show files in ext4 data partition but /opt and /jffs are normal.

ProFTPD works fine.

Rest is all good.

Thanks!

I will try once the next release comes out.

Partition 2 is still non-bootable, so I am not hopeful it will work unless the specific undetermined problem gets addressed. I suspect the problem could be with the ipq806x kernel config but my post regarding that has yet to have any other opinions posted.

I have nothing running specially, SFE was on and I turned it off now to see if this helps.
No SAMBA
No QoS
5GHz works great never have issues with it.
No VPN
No SmartDNS

Before I was runining r53445 and it did run without issues.
Then I installed r53843 and can't remeber if I got any problems with that version.
But I'm 100% sure that the issues started from r53939 that the random reboots accurs and therefore I upgraded to r54079 in hope that this problem would be solved.

What pic's do you need, some schreenshots of my settings ?

Left the EA8500 running r54079 most of the weekend and all seemed good. Power cycled it this afternoon, and four hours and twenty minutes later, it is still boot looping. Sigh.
