I know this is a topic that has been discussed but wanted to revisit it. I would be willing to donate a good candidate router for testing Wifi 6. I would be willing to help although I am not exactly a candidate beyond simple tasks and testing. If it is easier to make a monetary donation instead of supplying a router I can do that. About as far as I have gone is to navigate the build process to add a wifi driver in ubuntu. I am definitely not a coder. I am especially interested in building a Mesh network with Wifi 6 DD-WRT. I am not much of an expert and about as deep as I have gone is to configure DD-WRT with a VPN on some old Linksys routers. I am ready to purchase a pair of candidate routers for my home environment that I could test on if I got some feedback on likely candidate routers.
and you mentioned that the topic has been discussed before...
What you could do is look through the build database to see if any routers have wifi 6 that are supported... if there are not any, then you can contact about the payment/donation, but it will take time...

Wifi6 is nowhere near being supported by DD-WRT. Please consider donating hardware, but do not expect Broadcom devices to be supported. I am sure there is likely a thread that I missed, but...
