Linksys EA8500
DD-WRT v3.0-r47461 std (09/17/21)
Linux 4.9.282 #462 SMP Fri Sep 17 02:47:52 +07 2021 armv7l
GUI install over r47449
uptime 1 day, 3:28
switch / ovpn server / samba share ext4
all ok
main EA8500 still running r47449 & prolly leave it like it is ...lots going on here right now
"wget: not an http or ftp url" but r47381 wget command with the same ftp url works. R7800 also wget ftp impaired.
So, http only now for wget however curl can download https, http and ftp with no problems. Use curl -O now, easy.

Router Model TP-Link WR1043ND V2
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r47461 (09/17/21)
Kernel Version Linux 3.18.140-d6 #126712 Fri Sep 17 15:05:15 +07 2021 mips
update: CLI r47381 > r47461
reset: NO/YES
mode: Gateway running things from my signature...
status: NON-Operational 0h reverted back to 47381
errors: after update with no reset, WIFI didn't turn up...had to wait until i get physical access to the unit..than used one of the LAN ports to get to GUI...
dmesg output..shows some problems with atheros interface, but not always...on some restarts it did show nothing...
WiFi comes up only if i go via GUI disable enable wifi or save apply something around...
Than reset was done, but same 'shait', no WiFi...I did try to get some output, there was nothing that shows up in cat /tmp/var/log/messages... will provide dmesg instead....

Its radios are normally disabled but I see some are having problems w/ radios on some units so I enabled 2.4 & 5GHz in webif.
Both work as good as they ever did.

hmmm... radios are not normally disabled...nor after a fresh install or wet install too..
My 1043v2 shows radio is on, but not showing at all...if i stop start it, it shows up and runs, but on reboot "dang" gone again...
its no go build for me...also tried various settings to isolate the problem...on reboot radios are missing...i can expose the same WiFi settings i always have if this is necessary...
i ll wait with R9000 until somebody report/try it too..not rushing to "flash and sorrow"... _________________ Atheros

Alozaros, after I read your post:
With both radios working fine I done a simple reboot
...nothing connected to its switch but spare webserver anyways
all came back just fine. Connected to its 2.4 & 5GHz no problem.
It is using NO wide band... here is its wifi conf:
Router/Version: Netgear R7800
File/Kernel: Linux 4.9.282 #464
Previous/Reset: CLI update from r47381 / No reset
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working
Issues/Errors: Works fine no errors
Using Vanilla on 2.4 and 5GHz, WAN, QoS, Wireguard tunnel, DDNS, DNSmasq.
