Hi the router seems to be continuously in a reboot cycle, it failed if I remember correctly when I was trying to flash it with DD WRT a while ago(pulled it out of the cupboard as I need an additional router)

think the IP of the router would have been on of the following IPs

192.168.(0,1,7).1

have tried setting my laptop IP to 192.168.(0,1,7).2

and and I get this

Pinging 192.168.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Reply from 192.168.0.2: Destination host unreachable.

change seem to conside with the lan1 port light coming on.

Does this mean I just not found the right IP yet?

192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.x should be the IP and subnet you should be using. You can TFTP flash it or use nmrpflash if TFTP fails.
