Same as last build...Lost seeing the Windows 10 computers on the network and lost the NAS as well...Flashed back to r41517 and everything visible on the network again. _________________ WRT1900ACSv2
OpenVPN CLIENT works fine (nordvpn server)
5GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
2.4GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
NAS via USB Samba also working fine
Well..I disabled the VPN client with this build AND...I still could only see the same three Windows 10 computers. Reverted back to r41517 and I can see all nine windows 10 computers whether I have the VPN on or off... So it looks like it's something other than the CVE correction that's causing me to see only three Windows 10 computers with the latest builds...

I figured out the issue with my Windows 10 clients not showing up in the newer versions of DD...
It's the same issue that happened when Microsoft turned OFF SMB 1 by default and many people could no longer access their shares...The solution for many (and for me) was to turn SMB 1 back on (with optionalfeatures.exe). This fixed the issue for quite a few years. Up until now. It appears there is something in the newest version of DD that is causing some of these computers (the oldest ones for the most part) to not show up in Explorer. I managed to get five of the nine computers to show up by disabling and reenabling SMB 1 and rebooting). However the two additional computers that I managed to get to show up were wonky...They would appear and if you refreshed networking disappear and refreshed and appear again. Four of the computers (old ones with NICs that there are no updates for other than to run Windows 10 built-in drivers would not show up at all...Suprisingly I also lost the NAS drive itself with the newer versions...Something that never happened to me before...After doing all of this and getting no more than a max of five computers to show up (and no NAS)...I restored to r41517 and immediately everything showed up in Explorer...
I'm guessing that something in the newest versions of DD is disabling SMB 1. Oh well...Nothing more I can do...This may be the end of the road (Unless I wanted to buy NICS for the troubled laptops and desktops...)
I'll just continue on with r41517 for now...MERRY CHRISTMAS. _________________ WRT1900ACSv2

@DaveI -- I saw commits for smb2 and smb3 protocols added, but not sure if smb1 was disabled. There is likely a chance it was to get rid of the old, insecure smb1 protocol, or the addition of smb2 and smb3 broke things.... there ain't no tellin'. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

WRT3200ACM V1(?) r41791 Firefox 71.0 (64-bit) update from the GUI
I installed it without keeping the original configuration and had to reset it again after the update because I screwed up the initial password requirements.
I updated from an otherwise functional 40189 version because I needed to dedicate one wifi device only to VPN and the PBR (Policy Based Routing) was not working correctly (documented) on the version I had.
In general I'm having Wifi issues
Both 5GHz and 2.4 GHz CCMP-128 AES 20MHz mixed currently will not allow any device to connect but in the process it has also sometimes allowed connection but with very slow speeds, or allowed connection then later returned a bad password error.
Also, some of the GUI pages load very slowly, especially pages in the wifi or wifi status area.
Considering @scar1943 has successfully done pretty much exactly what I want to do with the same hardware, I'll keep fiddling for a while.
If I fix this or find out why it was doing it, I'll report back, otherwise I'll go look for something that's less of a Christmas present
Merry Christmas everyone and thanks for all you do - especially the part where an inexperienced person like me looks like an IT guru to my neighbor and friends.

I'm pretty sure that "Auto" and "Mixed" have the same caveats for Marvell devices as they do others. ...
I reset the router and started from scratch, and stepped though the entire process.
The wifi is now functioning completely as expected - both channels.
However, now the VPN is not starting at all and the OpenVPN tab under Status shows absolutely no change.
I configured this successfully (except for the PBR) yesterday evening fairly easily.
Maybe I need to reset the reset again.
Either way, I'm starting to guess that this is not related to anything specific the firmware.
EDIT: Egads, missed the leading and trailing "--- xxx Certificate ---" texts.
VPN is now working, proceeding.
EDIT 2:
Wifi and VPN are working fine but PBR is still not working like I expect it.
When I enter the desired IP address in the PBR field, all other devices in the network are removed from the VPN but that device loses all connectivity.
So I know it's doing something but the is the same behavior I was seeing on the previous version.
I guess I'll need to keep digging or come up with a different solution.

Awww yeah. Mixed seems to be fine on WRT3200ACM. An alternate to try would be NG-Mixed (2.4 GHz) and AC/N-Mixed (5 GHz), but really whatever makes your devices happy.
About PBR, reboot the router or restart VPN service?
I also use a startup script for PBR - in this case, to route devices on a certain IP address range to avoid using the VPN tunnel - devices that stream Amazon Prime or Netflix for example. (192.168.6.3 is my WAN default gateway.)
#Policy Based Routing to allow this IP range to route around the WireGuard VPN tunnel
ip rule add from 192.168.5.120/29 table 200
ip route add default via 192.168.6.3 dev eth0 table 200

Cannot see network computers on any release later than 41517. I've tried them all and found that only be reverting back to 41517 do I get all functionality back again.
