Hi,
this weekend I installed dd-wrt on my ASUS RT-N18U router because I had some issues with it`s stock media server.
To cut story short I need to work from home, because of this pandemic. Until now I was using VPN for accessing the office network. After moving to dd-wrt I can`t connect from my PC to my work network, it just hangs showing "Connecting".
Do I need to do some additional setup?
I am using Windows 10 on my pc, the firmware on router is DD-WRT v3.0-r43028 std (04/29/20)
I really could use some help, I was unable to work today at all
The VPN passthrough was enabled by default, didn't changed that.
Sorry, I don't understand your second question, but yes I would like to get access to the entire LAN at work.

To verify whether or not there are some setting affecting you in DD-WRT - try the following:
NAT/QoS -> DMZ tab
Whatever the PC / laptop you are using to connect, put that IP address into the DMZ then Save/Apply settings.
Make sure you have your firewall enabled on your PC and allow the VPN in the firewall rules.
It is NOT recommended to run your PC in DMZ as it's open to the internet.
What this is useful for is troubleshooting connectivity/setting issues.
If you can connect through VPN while under the DMZ, then there are definitely some DD-WRT settings interfering with your VPN connection.
DO NOT leave the DMZ setting enabled unless you realize the risks.
This is purely for troubleshooting connectivity. _________________ Soylent Green Is People !

No, there is no modem between the router and the internet.
It should something with dd-wrt firmware because 2 days ago when I had the stock Asus firmware on the router worked perfectly.
I`ve just tried to connect to work VPN via my mobile phones hotspot, and it works.

I find it difficult to believe that you do not have at least a modem. Whether you are on cable, *DSL, etc. - even fiber. There is always something in between your router and the Internet. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

I am using r42335 and the PPTP VPN connection from Win10 is working for me. From the link I attached, some other user can use the PPTP VPN connection up to r42617, but not with any more recent versions of DD-WRT.
