How do you setup IPTV in dd-wrt? I setup my tivibu iptv on openwrt before, so it must be possible. How to do that on dd-wrt though?
Tivibu is Turktelekom's private IPTV thing, which only allowed on the small tvbox device they send with their internet. So it must be very simple.

Mod edit: You're asking about DD-WRT, not OpenWRT. -kp69

Here's a couple of references, including your previous thread that might help you solve your problem, with the presumption that you are using wired ethernet and not wireless to connect the IPTV box. The Wiki article may be a little confusing and require future editing, but I am going to presume that the VLAN has to be enabled on both WAN and LAN port for the TV box.

Yes I use LAN from router to the TV box thing. Then in openwrt you create another interface for IPTV, I dont know how to do that in DD-WRT?

Does the streaming start and stop after 10 seconds?

On the Security Tab, check that Multicast Filtering is not checked.

I would soon get a fibre connection at one of my homes. I will find out when it's done. ISP is too lazy but I've had to research beforehand.

But it's very nice that you're annoying us with hypothetical nonsense.

then start your research and don't expect others to spoon feed you

One more point of reference (another thread of yours):

How to set up VLAN ID 35 for the ISP requirement?

AFAIK, IPTV requires a VLAN on WAN and LAN, as I already alluded to.

And I have to agree with @ho1Aetoo. We are all out of spoons and Gerber.

On the VLAN Config Tab, press + and add a new VLAN 55.

Add the CPU Port and select the LAN port that the IPTV Box is connected to. This LAN Port shall not have any other VLAN ticked.

Research how? Very few people do this IPTV thing, yet very few of them use DD-WRT? And this is very proprietary IPTV. Only works on their TVBOX. If there was a nice, fresh wiki I would. The thing is there is none. On the wiki there isn't even no time stamps. How do I figure out if that data is outdated? Tbh please someone add time stamps to the wiki.

Per Yngve Berg, I think that seems like a reasonable way to do. Gonna try that.

You must be blind. You can also click on "History". There are also timestamps and even post edit timestamps all over this forum with some exceptions.

The last IPTV box we configured here in the forum required tagging.

So try tagging port 1

Personally I have no information and no knowledge about your internet provider - and without information you don't know what to configure

and the hypothetical referred to the fact - that you asked for help and later said "i'm just getting the internet connection and can't test anything yet"

This is my freshtomato Tenda AC18 router, and Tivibu IPTV works in this config. I only did this, nothing else. See here. This setup didn't require vlan tagging on LAN1. Which I also tested other 2 possibilities, tagging WAN, or not tagging, or tagging LAN, tagging both. There is 4 combinations in total, I tried them all. Only this works:
