DD-WRT v3.0-r52485
Netgear 6350

I've just installed DD-WRT on my router and it all works except the USB, which I'm trying to use a 16gb thumb drive as a NAS. I've read other posts about this, and tried various formats (NTFS, FAT32, EXT4), but no matter what, I see only the USB hub listed in DMESG, no USB devices and no errors other than something about low power mode. Nothing in the /mnt folder or anything that looked like it in the /dev folder. Commands like lsusb and lsblk don't seem to be supported but fdisk shows no other drives than the router. With the stock Netgear firmware the thumb drive works fine.
Does this build not support flash drives?

Thank you.

Topic moved to Ralink (MediaTek) forum as this may be device-specific problem. I couldn't find anything specific in relation to your issue, but I do presume that you have USB core and storage support enabled in the webUI under Services -> USB tab. Only thing I would suggest if those are enabled is to consider upgrading to current release to see if the problem was fixed.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I just tried the hot-off-the-presses firmware, but to no avail. Presumably just the webflash upgrade is necessary, not going back to factory-to-ddwrt.
I do have USB core and storage enabled as well as automount. Disk info remains 'not available'.
Under the NAS tab I've got samba enabled and a share configured to /mnt. I can see the share in Windows file explorer but it's empty and can't be written to.

Thanks much.
