Use the webUI. This adds on to a question I had about 4MB flash devices not being able to wget firmware files, thanks for posting. Of course, firmware upgrade via CLI uses /tmp, which is RAM, not flash space, if I am not mistaken. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Unfortunately, I missed the notification about changes in the topic of the forum. I was just sorting through old mail and found a message about your answer.
The problem is that I tried to update in every possible way, including through WebUI. The update can only be installed by programming the device via UART directly.
But this is an extremely time-consuming process - I did it only once and do not dare to do it again.
Command-line you are supposed to be cd'd to /tmp, which is in RAM; there should be no issue with flashing, unless there was an issue with the previous version similar to 33375 or when webUI upgrading was broken. I have good word that the issue previously mentioned (related to DNS) is still catch-22 on similar devices configured as a Wireless Access Point. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
