And what the hell is going on with that theme on screenshot... wow... speechless.
Using Firefox version 100 and add-on Dark Background And Light Text (OS: Win 10). Staring too much white-light screen might hurt your eyes, something like snow-blindness!

Its been said, but, you set the router style dark, or use the built in inspired themes, the darkest is The Matrix
Whacha doin is killing my will to live by using those crap extensions. Stylus is much better.

There's included Dark themes in DD-WRT; no browser extension / Winblows theme required.

Knew that... but a browser add-on is more versatile. You can toggle on and off the DBALT add-on by merely pressing F2.

With Stylus, you can have dark mode styles global or site specific or write your own and you can exclude specific sites, like I do with https://github.com/style-it-themes which are stylus 100% writen and compatible, or goto https://userstyles.world/explore and find styles to install into stylus, if I already dont cover those sites many other people write good stuff and you can improve upon any since its open source and editable right in browser.
With sledgehammer dark mode standalone addons that affect everything are poorly writen (yes they are and you cant audit the source in most cases can have security issues like CSS exfiltration attacks) and can't exclude specific sites, you are no longer in control. Im a 100% control to the user kind of guy, not what some guy thinks is better.
Stylus gives you control even over what you install allowing you to create specific site exclusions with simple checkboxes.
Just saying, there are the right tools for the job and then using hammers for screwdrivers jobs.
But again, freedom is a great thing. I feel I would be doing anyone a great disservice by not letting them know of better, free, non privacy invading, 100% flexible tools and ways to work as opposed to closed non flexible alternatives.

I am fully aware what is out there, why do you think, I use what I use?
Because you are a modern web programmer? As an older programmer, it's hard for my brain to pick up new, modern programming tools like CSS, HTML 5, Javascript, browser DOMs... without forgetting learnt stuffs!! Stylus really looks like a programming tool, I am not yet ready.

Its not a programming tool, it can be used as one or as a zero knowledge premade styles loader.
It literally requires zero knowledge to use, to make styles yourself thats a different matter but to use premade styles like in my signature, assuming stylus is installed, it a one click job.
You can click already and read, nothing else is required as a user. literally nothing else but reading, if at all... My styles for instance you just install by clicking the link on the project readme.
Its like any firefox/chrome addon only with superpowers, it has options and a menu like most addons, its opensource no data collection at all.
IDK if you are older than me though both physiologically and brain wise.
But whatever, Im just trying to explain how easy it is and how much better, but I dont really care if you go or not for it, both scenarios dont affect me in any way.

EDIT: Ive split this convo from the other thread.
OK, see if I got the need, curiosity or chance to use Stylus in the future! Right now, I am happy with what I got. That did NOT mean your choices were wrong.
We and us just use what we need.

Ah yes, curiosity, I have that gene well active on my DNA.
I also have the freedom gene and the gene that is averse to all data collection amongst many of my other genetic predispositions that may not be quite good for ones health depending on the part of the world we are at.
So I choose what I install/use carefully or hack the shit out of it to make it comply to my genetic profile.

Tried the Use Dark Styles in Router GUI Style, and The Matrix in DD-WRT Inspired Themes, Firefox's Dark Background & Light Text add-on can make the dark theme darker. I could always toggle the add-on using F2.
I am staying with the Firefox add-on.
BTW, how about a 100% white and black DD-WRT inspired theme? Or maybe green or amber texts? Remember monochrome monitors in the old days of desktop PC?

If you use the standalone DD-WRT Inspired themes with stylus, you can add any custom colors you like. In fact you have tons of customization options aside from colors.
The standalone can reach external services, like speedchecker, OID search, and IP lookups in addition to the flexible options and many customization possibilities.
All customization are checkboxes/sliders/toggles driven requires zero knowledge or any special skills.
The built themes in doesn't support any customization at all and are limited and I wont add color schemes unless theres a demand from more than 1 user.
But whatever, you have no idea what you are missing, I opened the door, its up to you to walk through it.
You prefer broken results with huge scrollbars, and that's fine with me.
I on the other hand have standards and wont stand for mediocre results and if I dont like websites like the DD-WRT forums, I fix them. Just look at what I see in forums vs what you see.
Look at attachment and show me a screenshot of yours, then we can compare notes...
Same goes for my DD-WRT themes on signature, all customizable and all make 1980's look like 2050
