List of CVEs, collection of exploit tools to test said vulnerabilities, latest DD-WRT release. If your router fails tests, then you know where you stand. There was a time when the only way to get in was via serial console, which meant physical access to the router. Enabling shell access over the network, enabling remote access via WAN, and blocking web configuration and shell access over wireless are probably the key things to consider, IMHO. Most exploits I have seen are either due to brute force attacks against the WAN / Wireless or exploiting known holes in firmware or the contents of firmware itself. There are things that have been said thus far that I won't comment on. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
