I am using the most current final version of the firmware v23sp2 with a buffalo G54s. I set the port forwarding settings to my line connected pc, which has been on the same internal ip address for a day. When I first set the port forwarding settings it worked fine(using the foward port range page). But after a while, the ports just stop being forwarded! I don't understand why it happens, even if I try DMZ on the pc it doesn't work and I checked that the internal ip is the same. Someone please help, it's very annoying.

Okay, I noticed that my router had its red diagnostic light on whenever dmz is enabled. Is that supposed to happen?

Edit: Turns out my isp changes their ip every now and then and my router does not update as frequently which was why it stopped working. Is there a way to make it update more frequently?

Also, what do the RP PPoE and STP options mean in simple terms, their not in the help or wiki?

Come on, someone must know something about this topic.

So, this means you can't answer main question about whether I can set the router to update my ip as often as the isp does then?
