Flashed my La Fonera with the DD-WRT 03/10 and setup it up like this:
1. Under the setup tab, give the fon address the same ip address as the router you want to repeat but change the forth field to 2. So if your main router is 192.168.1.1 your fon will be 192.168.1.2. Save settings.
2. Under the security tab select disable firewall. Save settings.
3. Under wireless tab, click wireless security sub tab. Set physical interface settings to match the security settings of the router to be repeated. Save settings.
4. Under the wireless tab, set wireless mode to client, change the SSID to the network you want to repeat. Save settings.
4. Under the wireless tab, click to add a virtual interface. Give it a new ssid, set ssid broadcast enabled, set mode to AP, set AP isolation to disabled. Save settings.
My virtual interface then shows up under available wireless networks via my wireless card and wifi finder. I connect to it and them I am able to browse the network and internet. That what you are talking about?

Such a bridge should connect directly into the ethernet port and not be seen on the air... but I think you have it working as a repeater, which is also great.
It is probably just a matter of time now, thanks to so many generous efforts.

I have my internet type set to DHCP and the foneras DHCP server disabled.
It automatically obtained the ip from my main WRT54GS router and set the gateway and DNS to 192.168.1.1. I need to setup everything again and make sure I have my directions right as I did it when I was half-asleep... lol
Right now I am trying to recover my WRT54GS that I screwed up. I can access the Fonera at 192.168.1.2 via wire right now, but it doesn't show up on the wireless as it can't get an ip without the main router.

Flashed my La Fonera with the DD-WRT 03/10 and setup it up like this:
1. Under the setup tab, give the fon address the same ip address as the router you want to repeat but change the third field to 10. So if your main router is 192.168.1.1 your fon will be 192.168.1.2. Save settings.
Did you mean to set the 3rd to 10 which would be 192.168.10.1?

This is what I meant to say,

I updated it above as well.
I am having problems as of right now getting my fonera working the same. I updated it to 03/13 firmware and it doesn't seem to work. I just recovered my WRT54GS DD-WRT so there may just be something set wrong on it.
