We only need wifi on after about 5:00pm until midnight or there about for the Fire TV.
The rest of the time our computers are using USB-Docks and the Ethernet network so I'd like to shut down the wifi during that non use period.
I know I can limit the IP/NIC for the Fire during those times, but I'd like the wifi SSID to not even be available.
Before you jump in on hiding the SSID: The latest (three days back) Fire-TV update will not connect to a hidden network SSID, so the SSID has to be enabled. No way to roll back to the previous version of the Fire firmware. DUH - Amazon! We have been assimilated.
Recently I updated my build from a 2009 version to build 35531 (03/26/18 - Broadcom) and in the past I used the "Radio Time Restrictions", so I had set this up to work from say 11AM to 11PM.
However.. that doesn't work anymore with the new build; it's just always on basically, no matter what I fill in for the time schedule. Am I missing something or is there something I can do to have the schedule work again?
