Hi,

It seems like the radios can only be used in AP mode.
Will client mode be added soon?

Thanks,
John

Hi hebeda,

I'm running yesterday's version on a Wrap board:
DD-WRT v24 std (c) 2006 NewMedia-NET GmbH
Release: 12/07/06 (SVN revision: 5156)

Here is the output from lspci:

00:00.0 Host bridge: Cyrix Corporation PCI Master
00:0d.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
00:0e.0 Ethernet controller: National Semiconductor Corporation DP83815 (MacPhyter) Ethernet Controller
00:11.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5005G 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
00:12.0 ISA bridge: National Semiconductor Corporation SC1100 Bridge
00:12.1 Bridge: National Semiconductor Corporation SC1100 SMI
00:12.2 IDE interface: National Semiconductor Corporation SCx200 IDE (rev 01)
00:12.3 Multimedia audio controller: National Semiconductor Corporation SCx200 Audio
00:12.5 Bridge: National Semiconductor Corporation SC1100 XBus

Any ideas?

I've tried 3 different radios: SR2, EMP-8602 and WLM54G
with the same results.

thanks,
John

Attached is an image showing that "Wireless Mode"
is missing.

ok your problem is not unknown , now i understand what you mean ...
this can happen if you upgrade from a very early firmware version ...

please upgrade to the very latest version and do a factory reset ... if this does not work, i would like to ask BS for a fix , because i know it can be fixed, since we use the client mode ...

OK, I downloaded the web update version:
Release: 12/07/06 (SVN revision: 5166M)
Clicked "reset to defaults" and then re-flashed.
No change.

Then I tried to reset to defaults again.
No change.

Just a FYI: I never upgraded from a really old version.
A few days ago I downloaded the full registered serial
version, wrote it to flash, went to your store and paid
for a key and tried it out.

It is good to hear that you have client mode working.
I just assumed it wasn't implemented.

If there is anything you need from my end, just let me know.
I am willing to help get this working.

Thanks. John
