Hi! I was trying to get a 3g huawei dongle to work with my router (since my dsl it's down) I have firstly succesfully ugraded my router to dd-wrt.v24_mega_wrt600n.bin
then by reading about to get the 3g dongle working I would have to flash it to
dd-wrt.v24-15441_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega.bin
Get it working.
My router didn't not comeback up after... I had the power light flashing and all the wifi light where stable green as well of some of the ethernet leds.
I thought to power clycle it and reset it 30 30 30 but nothing.
I got ethernet link alive but only on static ip! doesn't respond to pings thought Sad
I don't want to belive to have it bricked and I feel like I want to cry!!! it's my first post but I follow you from long time and I have a great respect for you guys. HELP ME!!!!

See note 6 of the peacock. You could try note 11 with the proper firmware, but it is unlikely to work. Worth a try though. Otherwise, note 6 and likely the serial thread linked in that note.

You might want to read notes 3 and 4 while you are at it. Had you read them before, you might not be crying now. Don't think there is a jtag port on that router.

you flashed a k26 build to a 600 which does not support k26.

do not listen to anyone about pin shorting. It will not help. You will need serial to recover the router.

Hi! I'm trying a peacock n11 now... I did read it 3 times each time I wanted to flash my router. But yes!! I've made a mistake this time because someone had that firmware on one of his post signature with wrt600n during a search. Otherwise I wouldn't never flash it with that firmare. I always triple check before doing something so critical and it's the 1st time I brick something in 10 years Sad and I have lot's of stuff in my hands.

I got a MAX232 in my hands!!!! would that help? please?

And yes I'm crying like a child now Sad I love my dust free router.
P.S.
Excuse my English

Skip to the serial thread linked in note 6 of the peacock. It can be fixed.
