I have been able to upgrade my firmware from Linksys to DD-WRT public version using a guide on forums (link below) but I have not been successful on upgrading to special version. Is there any special procedures or steps that I should follow to install the latest Special version?

since k2.6 builds are in alpha status there are no special builds for them right now

Thanks for quick reply.
Is there any ETA for k2.6 support in specials builds or should I grab another router?
Is there a database or list of routers supported by special build?
