After that I upgraded to 15334 I could see 300 Mbps for about 5 minutes, then it dropped to 130 Mbps and it seems like it will not go up to 300 Mbps again.
What is the latest news on getting 300 Mbps speed over WiFi with the WZR-HP-G300NH?
If the USB issue have been fixed in this release?
If you could access your external USB disk or device on this build?
The issue is still present in this build. _________________ ▲ ACTIVE ▲

In other respects this build improves much on the wireless end.
Both 5ghz and 2.4ghz are showing more normal signal levels and seem to resetting correctly now although only time shall tell for sure.
Speed is good and it seems stable.

thanks, then have to wait next build to see if could fix this issue.
For an explanation and clarification. The mounting issue is dealing with the web based mounting system. with the new kernel it changed something in the mounting scheme and so i guess it fails. If you ssh or telnet into the router you can still mount any attached drives/devices.
Mounting itself is not broken, its the web interface for easy mounting. _________________ WNDR3700 moved to openwrt

Mounting a drive through either the web interface or ssh (using the old command) doesn't work since build 15279.
This command seems to work with new builds "mount /dev/sda1 /mnt". _________________ ▲ ACTIVE ▲

will flash to this build and see if the wireless is any better or if either my usb drive or flash drive get detected, and also need the commands to mount if they are even detected
meh, still no detection with my 2 drives and nothing with a portable 500GB drive, dmesh shows a usb device has been connected and even tried the mount command incase it was just a bug where it just wasn't showing any info on the usb tab, oh well I'm back on openwrt and will wait to try it again on the next build.

ok - i get the USB drive to mount with this, but quite strangely, the httpd web-interface goes to shit (garbled display of the startup page, with no options) as a result of the mount command on startup.
i CAN get to the web-interface if i kill/restart httpd from putty.
tried to also put in an init.d script that restarts the httpd, but it seems to not work - runs, but doesn't help.

pointers?
I didn't experience issues with the web interface. _________________ ▲ ACTIVE ▲

Thanks for the mount command. It worked fine for me too. No problems with Web GUI either.
