I would like to restore to the original firmware but don't understand the first step from http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/DIR-600#Alternate_Install_Method_using_Emergency_Room_Web_Interface

1. Setup your PC with static IP on 192.168.0.0 subnet.

What static ip I must use? windows 7 disallows me from changing the subnet mask to 192.168.0.0

No, what would be logical, make sense, and be CORRECT would be to add (i.e. 192.168.0.2) and something similar for the step to switch back to 192.168.1.0/24 ... but that would be being nice to people who don't understand networking, whatsoever.
