Trying to create a repeater from this Router, not being able to find much info to determine if it is a viable option. It is not listed on the known devices good/bad for dd-wrt firmware. This is what I do know. FCC:pd5lmwp100 (comes up as a wireless card not the bulky thing I have). Netgear has some spec info and I've briefed through the manual, but it still doesn't give me any real direction as far a reconfiguring it into a signal repeating mode. I have cable access through a Motorola modem that is wire connected to a Belkin N150 wireless router. It is shared key to all my other devices and they have been obviously configured to the same ssid. What step am I missing (brainfart) to get this Netgear to work like I want. I can plug it in and will get power, and wireless comes on. My notebook Belkin G wireless card will see it, however the best I get is the computer talking to the router but the router can't get to the internet. So if someone could give me that V8 feeling to get this done right. Thanks.
This is an ancient (2002) modem/router combo, not supported by dd-wrt.
I very much doubt that it has any repeater support in its stock software. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
