Is this anytihng to worry about?
Shouldn't be anything to worry about, many EU users converted their units using the US cfe i provided in this thread. Also, there is a link in the original instructs in bold for the EU cfe, should you feel more comfy using it instead. Mainly you just need to follow the instructions very closely. And the conversion is worth the extra nvram. _________________ Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ

This process worked just fine for me on converting my WRT320N to an e2000 last night. The only recommendation I have that I had to do differently is once I flashed the build with the modified header: dd-wrt.v24-14853_NEWD-2_K2.6_std_mod-e2000.bin posted in the instructions on the 1st page of this thread I had to flash: dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2000.bin the generic build before I was able to flash either:
dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-nv60k.bin
or
dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k.bin
Once I did this I was able to flash the mini. I haven't tried the big version because I don't need the extra features (I believe) at this present time. My signal seems to be a lot stronger, speed seems to be better, and all together the router seems to be more reliable now that I'm running the DD-WRT e2000 firmware. Prior to this I was running the Tomato firmware for WRT320N. But I have tried DD-WRT for the 320N in the past and it never seemed as stable as this.
Didn't realize there were further builds ahead. I'll probably try to move up to r22118 tonight.

Hi, i have WRT320N router with default firmware, untill now all it's good, but i am planning to get a 500 Mb/s internet from my provider.
This convertion wrt320n->e2000 will change my performance for WAN --> LAN Throughput ? (wired only)
Nope.. Your performance is dependent on the processor and what features you have enabled (in dd-wrt).
The hardware & processor do not change. The advantage of the conversion is increased nvram.
The 320 / e2000 has a broadcom BCM4717A @ 354mhz..
Max you can expect (stock or dd-wrt) would be about 100 ~ 150 mb/s (and that might be a stretch)
You need a router with a much faster processor.
However, I would be interested is seeing just how fast your current router would be. Please post your results after your wan upgrade. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]
