Hello everyone,
I downloaded DD-WRT standard file: “dd-wrt.v24_std_special_generic.bin” after flashing my router {wrt54g2 v1} it shows installed as the “DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/30/08) micro” and I don’t have access to all the features of the standard distribution, like chillispot, nocat, rflow, kaid, CIFS client, SNMP, IPv6, and MMC/SD card support. The only features I'm really looking for are chillispot and nocat.

I have tried this on 2 routers with the same end results.
Any help would be great. Thanks

I just went to the forum and downloaded the newest standard version from there and I also downloaded the newest mega version. And after flashing the router still shows the old version "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/30/08)micro (SVN revision 10709M NEWD Eko)" This is not my first time doing this and I have never had issues like this before. After every hard reset I get the new password screen. Should I try to roll back to the Linksys version and start over?

FYI: Im using the "upgrading existing dd-wrt firmware" directions.

Correct...that's because you can only load a micro, micro_plus, micro_plus_ssh builds on this model....it only has a 2M flash chip...nothing larger then 1900544 bytes will fit on this unit.

try this build.
