I have here (Augsburg, Germany) a so called "trend micro viruswall 300". It includes a Chip which says "Intel FW IXP420BC" on it. It also has an USB port, 4 internal Ethernet connectors and one external. Additionally there is a mini PCI slot and it works with my 12V 2A power supply. In former times these things were used as network analyzing gateway appliances, but trend stopped supporting them. => no new pattern files => useless metal. Now I would like to install DDWRT on one of these. I even was already successfull with flashing the device with unslug firmware. Unfortunatelly then the device was not accessible any more. I recovered from this and now am back with the trend firmware. Can you give me advice what kind of firmware I can use to flash this little guy in such a way that I can use it as a web server serving html files from the USB mass storage?
Now the best thing in the end:
I have not only one of these devices, but at least two including documentation and packaging.
Can you help? Do you have an idea which firmware binary could make this thing work with ddwrt?
Thanks in advance,
