Hello!!
I have a WRT54GL now with v24 preSP2 b.14896 vpn when the problem start with v24 preSP2 b.13064 vpn.
The problem is I can not authenticate with none one laptop in the router when I use a WPA encryption. If I do not use password the laptops connect with out problem. My Original configuration to the Wifi was:

* SSID Broadcast DISABLE
* WPA Personal Encryption (AES)

Now only work when the security mode is DISABLE.

I restart the router but continues not working. The only work around I found is restore a backup that I create one year ago, but the work around works fine only for a short time period. Then the laptops continues not connecting.

The router works fine around 3 years, I never shutdown, only the original configuration at Thursday when the problems starts. I do not understand why occurs that and why with out security works and with security do not works. Hardware Problem that appears do not be.
If anyone can help me I am very grateful.
Thanks in advance!!!!

You have a build that doesn't work well, and security that often doesn't work with dd-wrt. Use WPA2-aes and read the forum announcements for information that will prevent problems like this.

Thanks!
I read the Firmware Recommendations.
But I do not understand if the build that recommends is 14929 but this build I do not found or 12533 or that

ECOMMENDED BUILDS update 03/24/11
The date has been updated to inform you that this is still the current recommended build. The links have been updated to reflect the new directory structure.

NOTE: If you are running K26 builds and have problems with Repeater mode (bridged is fine) please see/update this ticket.

BrainSlayer builds (14929):
ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2010/08-12-10-r14929/broadcom/

For models that REQUIRE the K26 build (like the WRT610nV2, WNR3500L, RT-N16...etc...see note above)
ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2010/08-12-10-r14929/broadcom_K26/

or if you need Eko VINT or other special Eko builds:
ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/V24_TNG/svn15230/

thanks in advance!!
