DIR-615 repeater problems no web access

Hi there,

Just got a DIR-615 with latest v24sp2. I wish to create a wireless repeater of my network "MiWiFi". I have tried following this http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Universal_Wireless_Repeater
but to no avail. What happens is both networks go to full strength "MiWiFi" and "repeater". However regardless which one I connect to I get no internet access. When I tried to put Playstation on it suggests there could be a possible DNS error. Then as soon as I switch of dd-wrt the connection on MiWiFi comes back instantly.

I will try give as much information as I can.


Repeater
Connection Type: Automatic
Local Ip: 192.168.2.1 ( i have just read something suggesting this could be wrong)
SPI Firewall: Disabled
Wireless Mode: repeater
SSID: MyWiFi
Virtual: repeater
AP Isolation: disabled
Net config: bridged
security: Same on both

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, that hasn't helped either now comes up saying "windows is taking a long time to connect..." then limited access when it does.

What's the H/W version of your DIR-615?
What's the DD-WRT version that you installed?

Hi its a DIR-615 (EIR615BVM....D2G)

Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/09/09) std

Try a newer build, maybe 14896 (router database recommended) and 14929 and follow Repeater Bridge - DD-WRT Wiki.
