I have a linksys wrt160n, which I'm ready to dd-wrt, once I get a temp replacement working but have a question what to expect of the bandwidth available in the 4 ports.
Yesterday, suddenly, I'm only getting download speeds of .4mb, per each of the 4 available onboard switch ports. it was much higher than that. my ATT premium dsl does deliver consistent 2.5mb when connected directly to 1 pc. So it appears something has gone amiss in the linksys configured 160, (I've done the hard 30.30.30 reset), so I'm hoping its a software thing as opposed to some hardware malfunction.
Should I expect to get much higher bandwidth (with dd-rwt software) from the switch ports, eg, if just one pc should I not get close to the no-router 2.5mb-ish speed? and even with up to 4 pc's much more bandwidth per port than .4mb
