Knock yourself out, but I am under the impression that the drivers in the x86 firmware kernel (4.14 or 4.9, not sure which it is ATM) is the most recent...

Both the e1000e and e1000 drivers have changed to a kernel-only support model. Thus, the latest e1000e release is 3.8.7 and the latest for e1000 is 8.0.35. In brief, the kernel drivers (drivers included with the Operating System) will be the latest. Bug fixes and changes are made upstream in the Linux kernel.

Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 (NCM865). It works in OpenWRT with the ath12K-Kmod and ath12k-firmware-wcn7850 packages installed. AT least the 2.4 and 5 ghz channels work, not he 6 ghz.

Realtek 8127 10 Gbps card. I am looking at adding these to the computer I am building. I will add the dump as soon as I get all my parts in and can get everything installed and get DDWRT up and running.
