Hello,

I have a WRT320N Linksys router. Currently it has
its native firmware, but I will install DD WRT soon.

I would like to somehow connect the router to an external system with its own microcontroller via a bidirectional link.
The router itself is based on BCM4717 and the only documentation I managed to find (one page with block diagram of the chip) says it has an integrated UART.
I have the following questions:

1. Does DD WRT support this UART? If yes, then how do I access it?

2. How can I obtain a more detailed documentation of the chip?
