Check your proxy settings and make sure 192.168.1.1 is bypassed. Also, try an ipconfig release/renew. Open a command prompt, type (without quotes) "ipconfig /release", wait a few minutes. Then type "ipconfig /renew" and wait a few minutes. If that doesn't work, I'd go with the hard reset. Hope that helps.

From DOS c:> telnet 192.168.1.1 and telnet will open and attempt to connect to 192.168.1.1 and will prompt for username and password if it successfully connects. Type IPCONFIG in the dos window first to be sure the gateway IP is 192.168.1.1

Have you tried "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew" at the command prompt as I suggested several posts earlier?
