Hi @ all,

im kind a new to the dd-wrt (Optware) scene. Ive read allot in the Forum and the Wiki - nice info BTW.

My issue is knida odd:

My PS3 connects with no issues but as soon as it comes to Downloads or Online Games its slow and killes the connections. Ive monitored my router and it doesnt reset or something else its just slow.

Doing a Network setup with PS3 and all the settings are OK except the Network speed mesurement is FAILED - I can visit the store with few delays in pics for products but the downloads are all slow Wink

The PC Laptops and so on all work great with very hi speed and so on...... :D

Only the PS3 is slow - Ive tryed it with DMZ and a static ip - Upnp is enabled both options ;)

---------------------------------

Router = WRT610N ver.1

Firmware = DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/03/10) mega

Hardreset After Flash = Yes

Device = Wired

Type = Playstation3 -> Router -> Internet

VDSL = 50000 (T-Com)

Hope its inuff info! XD

Sory for my not so great english :D

Best regards Val.

(Thanks to the Admin/Mod for Moving the post to thr right Forum) Very Happy

Update:

Ive tryed the Ports that are needed for the PS3 to work and acctualy to be fast online. ;)

NOPE it didnt work!

PORTS needed were:

TCP-Ports: 80,443,5223
UDP-Ports: 3478,3479 und 3658

Still the Downloads via PS Store are very very slow. The delay between the shop and the actual product is still there.

I dont know what to do anymore could someone help plz. Im thinking of putting the stock firmware back again but ill gona miss the fetures that come with dd-wrt and the awsome upnp support. Vlaning and so on....

Best regards Val.

if you are forwarding ports, you should turn off upnp

You could try setting one of the bands to be G-only and connect PS3 to it (since it has a G-only card). WRT610N v1 supports both bands to be working in 2.4GHz mode, so you could use one of them for computers and have a dedicated one for PS3.
