Anyway, as a followup to this issue, I found the following links in the download folders of the latest BS builds.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/down.php?path=downloads%2Fothers%2Feko%2FBrainSlayer-V24-preSP2%2F03-24-10-r14144%2Fbuffalo_whr_hp_g300n/

In it, i chanced upon a AP webflash file and used it for the webflash procedure and viola, I got it ddwrt running!

So for anyone experiencing this issue, head over for the fix!

ok, the ddwrt firmware is way way faster than the stock. the stock firmware 1.70 always had problem with my ISP's intermittent connection. it just couldn't connect back. so far ddwrt is handling this real good!

Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N: Webflash image

-- Indeed, those two files are the same (from the router database).

I flashed my WHR-HP-G300N successfully with the router database file (above) and it worked flawlessly.

Date on the flash is April 10, 2010, so no need to flash a new dd-wrt version.

General question for US models; will future versions of dd-wrt support the WHR-HP-300N, or is this the final and only one?

http://www.dd-wrt.com/routerdb/de/download/Buffalo/WHR-HP-G300N/-/buffalo-to-dd-wrt_webflash-EU-US.bin/2371

Thanks.

These files have changed

Thank you

If Dr BrainSlayer make&UP a "whrg300nh_original_MALTI.bin" file, I would be very helpful.

Thank you

As an fyi, the original file also reports 14206.

-- So .. what have people put their tx power to? ddwrt defaulted to 21 dbm. I've bumped to 24. Anyone know a safe max value?

And any info on Superchannel's use?

I've tried 14206 build for WHR-HP-G300N.
but i can't log-in router page using wireless.
anyone with the same issue?
i can log-in using previous build 13977, but it cannot connect to PPPoE, and restarts constantly.
I'm using high connection apps thru wireless, ie. bit torrent, pps video streaming.

There are no Factory Reverts for Buffalo routers.

Due to restrictions, Buffalo encrypts all their original firmware.

Once you flash to DD-WRT, you are stuck with DD-WRT.

Someone would have to de-crypt the Buffalo firmware in order to get original back on.

same problem. i've flashed twice with 14206.
Cant connect to Webgui via wireless. Also i tried to change the port and give access to specific ip's.
the second problem is with Wiviz site survey.

I've bought my WHR-HP-G300N from Hongkong.

Really? Then why do these files exist?
